In 2024, Manasa Shre had spent 15 years watching how businesses found their customers through search. She had built SEO strategies for clinics, startups, logistics companies, and everything in between. She knew what worked, and she knew what was about to stop working.
Google’s AI Overviews had arrived. ChatGPT was answering questions that used to send traffic to websites. Perplexity was citing sources directly in its responses. The buyers were still searching — but they weren’t clicking links the way they used to. They were getting answers.
